Star Wars terror connection: Tourist have been warned away from the area surrounding Tatooine where it has been reported that the terrorist group ISIS has been suspected of stashing weapons caches.

Senator Palpatine called for an immediate boots on the ground solution, adding that the Galactic Senate’s lack of a swift military response emboldens the group to conduct such activities. The senior senator from Naboo went on to urge his colleagues to pass a bill that would allocate additional funding to the clone program so that their production and training can be increased.

He also posited that there might be need to adopt a more limited government to deal with this threat. He stressed that this consolidation of power will only be necessary until the threat has passed after which time the Galactic Senate will resume its previous organization. This bill goes to a vote later this week.
