See Your New Spider-Man in New Trailer For ‘Captain America: Civil War’

Among the fan community there is a concern about all of the superhero movies that will be released over the next few years (it’s looking like an average of six films a year between Marvel Studios, 20th Century Fox, and Warner Bros.). I understand the concern, these films can all start to blend together after a while; can anybody tell me the plot of 2011’s Green Lantern? Didn’t think so.

That being said, it looks as though Marvel Studios can do no wrong. After knocking it out of the park with two great films last year, they are set to start tearing their cinematic universe apart with Captain America: Civil War. We have seen threads of this conflict in past films. There was Tony refusing to give his armour to the government in Iron Man 2. There secrecy and corruption of SHIELD seen in The Avengers and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Most recently, there was the division amongst the team seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Well no more, after all of these conflicts have been swept under the rug due to a bigger threat, the heroes must face each other.

There is so much to be excited for in this trailer, but just a quick recap:

Black Panther in action.

-Scarlett Witch showing how Captain America’s team has a chance by putting The Vision in his place.

-The central conflict of Cap vs. Iron Man looks to be organic and built up in the story of the film, not just a shoehorned fight to look cool.

Ant-Man riding one of Hawkeye’s arrows (!)

-Though there is so much more, the big showstopper of this trailer, of course, is the revelation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man.

Civil War Spider-Man

I’m sure entire articles will be written discussing the look of this new Spider-Man, but for now, let’s all just get aboard the hype train.

What do you guys think? Do you think the film will be balanced in the conflict between Iron Man and Captain America? Is there a new hero you are most excited to see? Who do you think will handle this type of conflict better, Civil War or Batman v. Superman? How excited for the new Spider-Man are you? Let us know in the comments below!
