Disney has announced that they will have a second Star Wars Force Friday event, according to ComicBookMovie.com. The event announcement has revealed the first look at this trilogy’s trio. The picture’s below!
More About this Star Wars Announcement:
On 1 September 2017, Disney and Lucasfilm plan to have an event they’re calling “Star Wars Force Friday II.” At midnight on that day, a massive amount of the merchandise for the upcoming film Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be made available for purchase. This is a similar event to one that happened on 4 September 2015, a few months before Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released in theaters. Jimmy Pitaro, Chairman of Disney Consumer Products, and Interactive Media said “The first Star Wars Force Friday event was truly unique, uniting fans across five continents in an unprecedented global live unboxing event ahead of thousands of midnight openings at retail. We’re excited to confirm that Star Wars Force Friday is back for ‘The Last Jedi’. Plans for this year’s world-wide event are top secret but expect something befitting the excitement around the next episode of the Star Wars saga.”
We already have a couple hints regarding action in the upcoming movie. In the above photo, Rey is front and center, holding Luke’s lightsaber. Poe and Finn are both by her side, and they all look ready to take on Kylo Ren and the evil First Order. However, the picture is the only sneak peek we’re going to get for now. The rest of the merchandise is top secret until it goes on sale.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled to be released in theaters on 15 December 2017.
