Although we don’t know who Game of Thrones actor Michael McElhatton is playing in the upcoming Justice League film, we do know what he thinks about the upcoming DCEU film. According to batman-news.com, McElhatton thinks highly of what he’s seen of Justice League.
More about Justice League
Although McElhatton (who played the dastardly chess master villain Roose Bolton on the HBO hit show Game of Thrones) is not permitted to disclose who he is playing in the upcoming film, we do know that he makes an appearance in the current opening scene. According to him, his scene is dark, and not “comic-bookie” (whatever he may think that means). He did tell Red Carpet News TV that he thought that Justice League, unlike Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, would have a thread of humor running through it despite being a dark film. However, a word to the wise: he seems to be unclear if this will remain the case, due to reshoots. McElhatton has also sung the praises of Justice League director Zack Snyder (who also directed Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice). He said that Snyder’s passion for the characters that appear in Justice League make him a good director for the film, as well as how loose and open Snyder is willing to be for actors who want to add their own twists to their roles.
