X-Mansion to Appear in Deadpool Sequel
The Merc with a mouth is (almost) back. Details on Deadpool 2 have been minute at best, especially in regards to the plot of the movie, but we’ve got a nice tidbit for you. Thanks to IGN we know that the X-Mansion will be back.
Back in the X-Mansion
The X-Mansion had a small part in the first Deadpool as it was where both Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead lived. And because it was Deadpool, who is known for breaking the fourth wall, we got the hilarious quip “It’s a big house. It’s funny that I only ever see two of you. It’s almost like the studio couldn’t afford another X-Man.”
Of course, this being Ryan Reynolds he had a lot of fun captioning the photo in the different social medias. The Instagram caption read “Dropped by X-Mansion. Looked closely for Beast’s lawn bombs before taking well-deserved nap” while the Facebook one read “Now filming Deadpool 2: Xavier’s Lust.” It would not be Deadpool (or in that case Ryan Reynolds) if there wasn’t any cursing, so the twitter caption read “Dropped by the X-Mansion. Big f-ng surprise. No one’s home.”
Here’s what we do know about the movie, David Leitch will be the one directing this time, and the movie will bring back familiar faces like Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, and Leslie Uggams and bring in newcomers Josh Brolin as Cable, Zazie Beetz as Domino and it will have Jack Kesy as the probable villain (who might be Black Tom). It also might lead to Cable and Deadpool’s appearance in the X-Force movie.
Word of the Nerd will continue to report on developments regarding Deadpool 2 as they become available.
