How did you first get into cosplay?

Since I was a child I had to wear the dresses of the princesses of Disney, and one day I wanted to realize myself my first dress of princess.

Do you cosplay just for fun or do you see it as a stepping stone to a future career?

For me, cosplay it’s just for fun.

Do you prefer to make your cosplays from scratch, buy or commission them or a hybrid?

I prefer to make my costumes.

How much time do you spend making each of your cosplays?

It depends on the cosplay.

What is your favorite cosplay you done so far?

Alexstrazsa from World of Warcraft and Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

What has been your most memorable experience (good or bad) as a cosplayer?

My best experience is probably to be able to meet my idols and contests cosplay.

How do you feel about group cosplays?

I do a lot of cosplay group with my friends, it’s a good idea to tighten the bonds of friendship.

What cosplays are you currently working on or plan to finish this year?

I’m currently working on Harley Quinn, for December I realize the yellow dress of Pamdé Amidala in Star Wars Episode 2, and after a cosplay that keeps me very much heart is Wonder Woman of the movie.

What issues do you see being the most divisive in the cosplay community and how do you feel about it?

The biggest problem is probably jealousy, people are very jealous of the success of others!

What types of characters or genres inspire your cosplay the most?

Strong women like Wonder Woman or Lara Croft. I am a real feminist so I find myself in this kind of characters. I also love Disney princesses, they are soft and delicate.

What is your favorite part (researching, shopping for supplies, sewing, photo shoots, attending cons, etc.) of your cosplay process?

Unquestionably I would say that I prefer to sew my cosplay and buy pearls, ribbons, lace … then to be able to pass on the scene for the competitions.

What are your best resources for cosplay materials?

I do a lot of research on the internet, eBay, Wig is Fashion, Coscraft, Calicolaine, Arda wigs and many others. I also go to many stores and markets.

What has been the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome as a cosplayer?

I’d say armor! EVEN IF I LOVE MUCH, I FIND IT COMPLICATED!!!

Have you learned any life lessons during your time as a cosplayer and what are they?

I learned to remain humble and accessible to the public.

What is your golden cosplay rule that you would share with new cosplayers?

The patient and never get discouraged! We are so proud once our costume is finished 🙂

How do you feel the cosplay community has changed over time?

The community has changed with time, I try to stay out of worries and bad things.

If money and time were not a factor, what is your number one over ambitious cosplay you want to do?

Without hesitation Wonder Woman!!! I love her enormously, she is a woman so strong in relation to men, she is brave, and she wants to save the world!

Do you set a budget for each cosplay?

Not really, if it is for a contest I do not hesitate to buy the finest materials.

What does cosplay mean to you?

For me cosplay is above all fun, is to realize my childhood dreams and embody the strong characters that I would like to be in real life.

Is there anything that would make you stop cosplaying?

No, cosplay is my true passion, I will be very unhappy to have to stop the cosplay. But if I had to stop it would probably be because of the money.
