Cinemark Theatres Announces MCU Week

Cinemark Theaters is celebrating the MCU with eleven films over the course of one week. Marvel Studios Week runs August 25th – August 31st.

The MCU Crashes Back Into Theaters

Cinemark Theatres Announces MCU Week ScheduleThe end of summer is a strange time for movie fans. Oscar season hasn’t kicked off in earnest yet, but the blockbuster season is certainly over. But, early fall tends to be a wasteland full of films studios have no faith in turning a profit. Fortunately, this provides theaters a fun opportunity to show older films on the big screen. While these Repertory screenings offer fans the chance to see their favorite films on the big screen again. Or, again, for the first time, the downside is, the theaters often charge exorbitant prices for tickets since the films appeal to more niche audiences.

But, Cinemark Theaters are stepping in to fill the early fall void, and all at a reasonable price. The theater chain is bringing back 11 of the MCU‘s most popular films for one week. The best part? The tickets are only $5. Also, patrons participating in Marvel Studios Week also receive special discounts at the concession counter. Furthermore, if you’re a Cinemark Connections member, you earn double points on all your purchases!

This is a heck of a good idea and an even better deal. Sadly, I don’t live anywhere near a Cinemark Theatre. So, I will have to live vicariously through those that do. Also, even though the oldest film in the MCU is only 9 years old, seeing them on the big screen is always the best option. Besides, they’re showing the Captain America trilogy, and it features two of cinema’s best franchise sequels. So, what will you be seeing during Marvel Studios Week?
