Veteran inker Victor Llamas passed away on December 22nd from complications from a long hospital stay. The reason for his hospital stay has not been revealed. Llamas was primarily an inker for Image’s Top Cow imprint, working on books such as The Darkness, Witchblade, and Aphrodite IX. He also worked on titles ranging from Batman to X-Men to Star Wars: Republic. He worked with artists such as Marc Silvestri, David Finch, Billy Tan, and Joe Benitez. His most recent work was inking Joe Benitez on Wraithborn Redux

Llamas leaves behind a wife, Amy, and three kids, Alec, Chase, and Emily. A GoFundMe has been set up to help pay for burial expenses and for family finances.
