While you won’t be able to binge it until March 30, you can get a sneak peek of it. Check out the new trailer, which is quickly hijacked by Count Olaf.

Another Unhappy Season

The Baudelaire children, Count Olaf, and his eccentric crew of miscreants are returning for 10 new episodes. As you can imagine, more calamites are yet to come. In the trailer, Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris) himself promises this coming season will have “more villainous treachery, more treacherous villainy, and more treacherous villains.”

Count Olaf will continue his tormenting of the children – Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes), and Sunny (Presley Smith) – in the hopes of stealing their fortune.

Awful Guest Stars

New cast members this season include Nathan Fillion (Castle, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog), Tony Hale (Veep, Arrested Development), Lucy Punch (Motherland, Ella Enchanted), and Sara Rue (Bones, Impastor).

A Series of Unfortunate Events the Baudelaire Children, Mr. Poe, and Justice StraussA Series of Unfortunate Events is the lamentable tale of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire’s troublesome life after the mysterious deaths of their parents (portrayed by Will Arnett and Cobie Smulders). As they search to discover the truth, they realize their family has many secrets. In addition, their distant relative Count Olaf swoops in right away to take custody of the children so that he can get his hands on their fortune. But even when the children have escaped his evil clutches, he uses his acting skills to come after them in disguise after disguise.

The first season of the show was based on the early books in the series of the same name by Lemony Snicket (pen name of Daniel Handler). Those books included The Bad Beginning, The Reptile Room, The Wide Window, and The Miserable Mill. The season ended with the Baudelaire children getting sent to a boarding school.

This season will cover The Austere Academy, The Ersatz Elevator, The Vile Village, The Hostile Hospital, and The Carnivorous Carnival.

According to Variety, Unfortunate Events will also return for a third season.
