How did you first get into cosplay?

I always loved wearing costumes for Halloween, so one time one of my friends told me they are going to a convention where you can cosplay your favorite character from anime/video games. And this is the first time I cosplay something I really love

Do you cosplay just for fun or do you see it as a stepping stone to a future career?

For fun at the moment but I would like to make it a job one day.

Do you prefer to make your cosplays from scratch, buy or commission them or a hybrid?

I made all of them from scratch 😛

How much time do you spend making each of your cosplays?

Big ones are about 500 hours.

What is your favorite cosplay you done so far?

Tyrael from Diablo/Heroes of the Storm

What has been your most memorable experience (good or bad) as a cosplayer?

Good: People who come talk to me and said they loved my work.  Bad: People who touch without asking ours props or wings (Tyrael)

How do you feel about group cosplays?

I REALLY LOVE IT 🙂 It’s nice to cosplay with a group of different characters from a game that you love

What cosplays are you currently working on or plan to finish this year?

I’m working on Auriel from Diablo/Heroes of the Storm

What issues do you see being the most divisive in the cosplay community and how do you feel about it?

Gender/weight a lot of people doesn’t like when you don’t look like the characters you cosplay… that makes me sad 🙁

What types of characters or genres inspire your cosplay the most?

Badass characters with full armor and wings haha

What is your favorite part (researching, shopping for supplies, sewing, photo shoots, attending cons, etc.) of your cosplay process?

Attending cons because we see lots of people 🙂

What are your best resources for cosplay materials?

EVA foam

What has been the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome as a cosplayer?

Insults 🙁 because of people who insulted me, I wanted to stop cosplaying

Have you learned any life lessons during your time as a cosplayer and what are they?

The community is always awesome with all your hard work

What is your golden cosplay rule that you would share with new cosplayers?

Always have fun 😀

How do you feel the cosplay community has changed over time?

People judge a lot and that makes me really sad cause we are just enjoying a passion we love

If money and time were not a factor, what is your number one over-ambitious cosplay you want to do?

Kerrigan, Diablo something huge hahaha

Do you set a budget for each cosplay?

No, but I should

What does cosplay mean to you?

A hobby with a lot of people who can help and understand 🙂

Is there anything that would make you stop cosplaying?

Money and time
