Anticipated Book Releases for December

It’s that time again! Let’s talk about our Anticipated Book Releases for December. The year is coming to a close, and that usually means that some publishers are taking a bit of a break. And yet we’ve still found so many novels to look forward to! And if this list seems smaller than usual for you readers, have no fear! I’ve already started on January’s list, and there are so many noteworthy books on the horizon!

Wicked Hour by Chloe Neill – Dec. 3rd

Wicked Hour by Chloe Neill is the second novel in the Heirs of Chicagoland series. And yes, that series is a direct spin-off from her hit Chicagoland Vampires series, in case that wasn’t obvious. Elisa is once again facing a strange adventure—but this time it’s all due to a strange invitation. Conner’s invite to go and watch a private pack event is about to change everything.

Children of Virtue and Vengeance by Tomi Adeyemi – Dec. 3rd

Dec. 2019 new booksChildren of Virtue and Vengeance is Tomy Adeymi’s second novel in the Legacy of Orisha series, and it’s bound to be just as compelling as the first. Magic has come back to Orisha, but at a great cost. And Zelie’s epic quest is far from over. Now Zelie has to unite all of the maji and face off against the monarchy of Orisha.

Reverie by Ryan La Sala – Dec. 3rd

Dec. 2019 new book releasesReverie is Ryan La Sala’s debut novel, and it’s one that has been getting loads of attention. Think The Magicians meets Inception, and you’ll know what’s in store for you here. Kane Montgomery was found half-dead, and now he’s left to construct the story of what happened to him. Naturally, that is easier said than done.

A Madness of Sunshine by Nalini Singh – Dec. 3rd

Dec. 2019 new booksThe famous Nalini Singh is about to dive into a new genre—thrillers. A Madness of Sunshine is the first in what is sure to be a whole new line of books by the beloved author. So you can imagine the pain and strife her return has caused her, and yet she is doing exactly what she has been forced to do. And in the process, she must face the ghosts of her past.

The Light of All That Falls by James Islington – Dec. 12th

Dec. 2019 new book releasesThe Light of All That Falls is the third novel in James Islington’s Licanius Trilogy series. It’s also the dramatic conclusion of the series. They’ve repaired the boundary, and it is whole once more. But it may be a case of too little, too late, as the Banes in Andarra seem to indicate. And that’s only the beginning of what is to happen in this concluding novel.

Crownbreaker by Sebastien de Castell – Dec. 10th

Dec. 2019 new booksCrownbeaker is the sixth novel in Sebastien de Castell’s intense series known as Spellslinger. Kellen Argos is a spellslinger, but at one point he was also an outlaw. But that was all before the queen needed him. Now Kellen will be forced to go somewhere he hoped to never see, and issue the biggest challenge of his life.

The Hanged Man by K.D. Edwards – Dec. 17th

Dec. 2019 new book releasesThe Hanged Man is the second novel in K.D. Edward’s The Tarot Sequence. Set off the coast of Massachusetts, this is a world much like a modern-day Atlantis. Rune Saint John is the last of his family, and he’s determined to do whatever it will take to protect his young ward, Max, from a forced marriage.
