Lion Forge Just Announced Their Newest Series

At C2E2 this week Lion Forge announced that they were coming out with a brand new series! The new series is named Army of One.

Army Of One

Army of One is an interdimensional science fiction series with a focus on sisterhood and friendship facing off against all odds. Carrie Taylor is a just a girl, one that suddenly finds herself facing off against horrid creatures. But, an unexpected set of people save Carrie… A group of well…herself. Well, other versions of herself.

It turns out the Carries of other dimensions were able to arrive just in time to save her. But they have more in mind than just saving each other – they have to save everyone. Together they must face the antagonist of the series while also figuring out how to fix their fragmented selves.

The Team

Army of One may be a new series to Lion Forge. But, the publishing company is not afraid to put some a brilliant team behind it. So, writer Tony Lee has been signed on board for the project. He’s best known for his works on Spider-Man, Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.

Yishan Li has been pulled onto the team as the primary artist. Li is best known for her work in Blue Beetle, Sugar, Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. 1956, and Buffy: The High School Years.

And rounding out this team, we have Bryan Valenza as the colorist. He is currently working on series like Witchblade, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Golgotha.

Release Information

Army of One is going to release in October of 2019 and each issue will be $3.99. Anyway, the new series should be readily available in most comic book stores. Just in case it might not hurt to preorder it!
