Avengers: Endgame Fan Theories? Sam Jackson Doesn’t Care

Avengers End Game

Sam Jackson Too Busy For Fan Theories

Well, I and Sam Jackson have something in common besides our last name! We both don’t have time for Avengers: Endgame fan theories. Somebody decided to ask him on the red carpet of Captain Marvel what he thought of some Endgame fan theories and he had the best Sam Jackson response you could ask for. Comicbook.com notes it went down a little like this “No, I have not,” he said. “I haven’t paid attention. I’ve been busy doing stuff.” The actor went on to explain that 2019 has already been a full year.” You can watch the video courtesy of Metro, but Jackson sounded much cooler and meaner in my head.

Young Nick Fury

Jackson does seem excited to show people a younger Nick Fury. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he says “He didn’t have that big chip on his shoulder yet,” Jackson explained. “There’s something still light about Nick Fury. He’d been in some dark stuff, so there’s still a bunch of stuff that hasn’t been explored about him through the war and through his years as a spy in the shadow world or whatever,” Jackson added. “But now he’s on a desk. It’s kinda like he’s on hiatus. He’s sitting at this desk trying to figure out, ‘Okay, where’s the threat coming from?’ [Carol is] his first extraterrestrial. She opens up a whole new world for him.”

What Will Happen?

I have though read a few fan theories but not many, but it is fun to wonder what will happen in Avengers: Endgame. Not that we have long to wait. We will get some answers shortly as the highly anticipated Captain Marvel is set to premiere March 8th (my wife already bought me tickets for my birthday that weekend!). Captain Marvel will probably answer some questions and raise more after its premiere. As she was the last person Fury contacted before being snapped away.

Obviously, there is going to be some kind of time travel or something. With the time stone involved and the Quantum realm somehow the group makes things right. Plus Captain Marvel takes place in the 90’s so for her to arrive in the present day is going to take some explaining. Maybe her powers help her not age as fast, maybe some time relativity in space? We won’t know for sure until both movies come out.

Conclusion

Like most people, I am pretty hyped about Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame and there are a ton of theories floating around about both movies. I probably even have my own, but knowing Samuel L. Jackson is not going to read them, then what’s the point? But hey, do you have any theories about Captain Marvel or Avengers: Endgame? I have a higher probability of reading them than Sam Jackson and my last name is Jackson, so there is that!
