Marvel Trailer Released today
Following the first look images, we now have the first trailer for the highly anticipated Captain Marvel is here. Brie Larson who plays Captain Marvel — the heroic alter ego of U.S. Air Force pilot Carol Danvers — finds herself caught in the center of an intergalactic alien conflict.
The film is set in the 1990s and sees Samuel L. Jackson returning as Nick Fury and Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Colson. Lee Pace and Dijmon Hounsou reprise their Guardians of the Galaxy roles of Ronan and Korath. We get to see some new faces as Jude Law joins the cast as Starforce Commander and Danvers’ mentor.
This is the first female-led film in the MCU. It is also the first female co-direction with Anna Boden joining Ryan Fleck. Fans are also excited as the last time we see Nick Fury was at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and we’re left with the teaser of Marvel.
The trailer shows Captain Marvel crashing into Earth (via Blockbuster) but with no memory of her time on Earth. She comes across Nick Fury and the threat of intergalactic war looms. The short snippet explores her interstellar life and her past as a regular human.

The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The trailer isn’t revealing too much but it’s enough to get us excited. What we do get to see offers large-scale action and intergalactic mayhem that reaches for Infinity War’s heights.
Captain Marvel will be in theaters March 8, 2019.
