Word of the Nerd is pleased to present to you one of our newest regular features, Cosplay of the Week. Each week we feature a new talented cosplayer from the cosplay community. Be sure to check back every week to catch some up and coming new cosplay talent or get a look at some well established and already famous members from the world of cosplay.
A comic book fan since 1995 and toy collector far longer, found that Cosplay gave a whole new meaning to fandom. I don’t participate in the new era of profiting from photo shoots but rather do them for the challenge of execution and love sharing with other fans and hearing feedback. I also enjoy sharing progress and tips as an economical recycle and re-purpose costume designer.
How did you first get into cosplay? Hanging at my hometown comic slinger when I was a kid.
How much time do you spend making your costumes? An obscene amount! Majority of my free time.
What’s your favorite cosplay you’ve done so far? Armored Lady Death.
Do you usually get positive reactions from fans? Absolutely!
What’s the next costume or event you’re preparing for? Con season just ended for me. I just created a Venom vs Carnage photo shoot. Now time to take a breather til end of January for Amazing Arizona Comic Con.
What characters inspire you the most? Many, but Lady Death, Dawn, Supergirl & Witchblade are big ones.
