How did you first get into cosplay?

I loved watching anime and thought that was incredible that people are able to become characters

Do you cosplay just for fun or do you see it as a stepping stone to a future career?

I wouldn’t mind if it becomes my career haha

Do you prefer to make your cosplays from scratch, buy or commission them or a hybrid?

I love making my cosplays myself! But I’ve done a couple promotions for cosplay stores

How much time do you spend making each of your cosplays?

It depends on the costume. Sometimes a month, sometimes a couple of days

What is your favorite cosplay you done so far?

Junkrat forever!

What has been your most memorable experience (good or bad) as a cosplayer?

When I cosplayed Junkrat for a con, I had to move wearing a ballet shoe and it was super funny and painful. But I managed to entertain the crowd

How do you feel about group cosplays?

I love group cosplays!

What cosplays are you currently working on or plan to finish this year?

I am working on Elastigirl right now, I hope to make Triss Alternative costume this year

What issues do you see as being the most divisive in the cosplay community and how do you feel about it?

There are some issues, and they vary from country to country. I just want to recommend everyone to stop being hypocrites

What types of characters or genres inspire your cosplay the most?

I love villains! But I think its no the type that inspires me but costumes and stories

What is your favorite part (researching, shopping for supplies, sewing, photo shoots, attending cons, etc.) of your cosplay process?

Sewing and crafting for sure! And then trying everything on for the first time

What are your best resources for cosplay materials?

Jo-Anns I think, also fashion district and House of Silk

What has been the biggest obstacle you have had to overcome as a cosplayer?

I think at the beginning when in my country cosplayers were considered freaks by most of the people, I had to just deal with the fact that people thought I was an idiot who was “too old for dressing up as a cartoon character”

Have you learned any life lessons during your time as a cosplayer and what are they?

Maybe “don’t cut foam on your leg with a very sharp knife or you might end up in a hospital”

What is your golden cosplay rule that you would share with new cosplayers?

Cosplay costume is not a Halloween costume, so work hard on the first one and do it as accurate as possible! there is nothing that you can’t do, if you don’t know how to do something, just learn it!

How do you feel the cosplay community has changed over time?

Some costumes look way better than in movies, the level of cosplay definitely has been growing up

If money and time were not a factor, what is your number one over-ambitious cosplay you want to do?

Triss Merigold Alternative look from The Witcher 3

Do you set a budget for each cosplay?

No!

What does cosplay mean to you?

It’s pure art to me

How do you see the cosplay community 10 years from now?

Every person at some point will try to cosplay

What is your favorite con to attend?

Russian Comic-con and Igromir

Is there another cosplayer who inspires you or is your role model?

Narga Lifestream

Do you consider yourself an inspiration to other cosplayers?

I hope so!

What advice would you give someone about meeting cosplayers and taking their pictures? How do you like to be approached?

Just don’t jump on us please and be careful with costumes. We spend time, money and tears on them. And when you see a cosplayer half undressed and without a wig that means that maybe it is not the time to take a picture

What is one thing you wish your fans knew about you?

I don’t bite!

Is there anything that would make you stop cosplaying?

Time.
