The newest series to come from Dark Horse features a unique hero. Lou the cat. Yes, you read that right. But he’s no ordinary cat. He has the ability to astral project, and he’s going to use that to save the universe. And he’s going to be the cutest little hero out there.

Time To Save the Universe

In Lou’s time, civilization has taken a bit of a turn. Humanity is run by a military-industrial complex, and I think we can guess how well that is going for humankind. And animal-kind. To make matters worse, they’re seeking out and destroying alien life and worlds as well.

Lou is the only one that can save everyone. Together, Lou and his devoted owner, Kiara, are going to save the universe.

Creative Team

Carlos Giffoni‘s debut series Strayed proves that there are up and comers worth keeping an eye out for. Giffoni’s writing is sure to attract the attention of comic book fans and cat lovers alike.

Working alongside Giffoni is Juan Doe. He’s the artist behind known works such as Legion of Monsters, Fantastic Four in Puerto Rico, and others. Also joining the team is Matt Krotzer. He’ll be the letterer, and is best known for his work on Grimm Tales of Terror.

Several artists have signed up to make variant covers for the series. That just goes to show how exciting this project is. So far we know that Alexis Ziritt, Dustin Nguyen, Jim Mahfood, Matteo Scalera, and Sanford Greene are all contributing.

Publishing

Strayed will be a five-issue miniseries. The first issue is set to release on August 14th. Since Dark Horse has always been a major of local comic shops, they’ve put a strong emphasis on pre-ordering through one of these locations.
