The Story of A Wrinkle in Time

Published in 1962 and written by Madleine L’Engle, A Wrinkle in Time is a science fiction and fantasy story about a young girl, Meg Murray, and her brother Charles Wallace, whose father has gone missing.  He was working on a project called a Tesseract when he disappeared and now it is up to his children and their schoolmate Calvin O’Keefe to find him.  The story takes the children on a journey through ‘a wrinkle in time’, the Tesseract.  Meeting Mrs. Whatsit and her friends Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which, extraterrestrial beings, they learn of the evil called the Dark Thing.  Together and with the help of others along the way they must find a way to save Meg’s father and the planet Camazotz from the IT, a disembodied brain.

A Wrinkle in Time has finished principle filming and is set to hit theaters on April 6, 2018.  The film is directed by Ava DuVernay with the screenplay by Jennifer Lee (Frozen) and produced by Disney.
