Hold the Spoilers
I like to talk about Game of Thrones in the most digestible way possible. If you want to hear my deep cuts and theories then you should listen to my Game of Thrones podcast I have yet to start, where I go back to season 1 and just really theorize the heck out of a show that has already been finished.
We are here for fun and excitement and talking about how people get angry over things that were set up multiple seasons ago.
Before you read on you must know there are spoilers that lie ahead. Rumor has it if you say spoiler three times in a row, like Beetlejuice, spoilers for Game of Thrones will appear. Let’s give it a try! Spoilers, spoilers, spoilers!
Did it happen? It did, because here they come! Seriously, if you haven’t watched the latest episode, turn away now. I do not want to be the soul who ruined this episode for you. You turned away?
Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
So there is a slew of people who either loved or hated the episode, or those who couldn’t see it because it was so dark. Either way, there were a lot of emotions.
Spoiler number 1: Arya was a super assassin and saved the entire realm from the Night King. Some people felt that this was undeserved, but I say, who deserved it more? I think she earned it. Plus it was prophesized back in season 3 by Melisandre. So point, set, match.
Spoiler 2: Jorah died… But he went out like a boss saving Dany. Not too much anger there, so we are good!
Spoiler 3: Theon died… He’s a good man. Then he ran straight at the Night King and died, but up until then, he put up a hell of a fight for Bran.
Spoiler 4: Lyanna died… She killed a White Walker giant, though. I mean who, out of the Game of Thrones characters, can say they killed a giant?
Basically, people died, and yeah, they got awesome moments! Now for the big surprise moment the Twitterverse is angry about. Some people thought the Night King didn’t get his due of background people before he was killed… I mean, seriously? He was a First Man, captured by the Children of the Forest, turned into an ice zombie who killed and raised people from the dead. What more do you need?
The answer is: nothing. He was menacing, killed dragons, and most everyone he came in contact with. Except the Death God herself, Arya Stark! To learn more about this theory, listen to my unreleased podcast called Got GOT?
There’s so much I could talk about, but it’s late and I think I made my point.
So what did you think of last night’s episode? Do you have a problem with Arya saving the world? Do you want me to release the podcast no one ever asked for? Let me know down in the comments below!
