Caroline Cave has been cast in a recurring role on the second season of Syfy’s VAN HELSING.
VAN HELSING is set in the near future, where vampires have risen and taken control. Vanessa Van Helsing, played by Kelly Overton (“True Blood”) is humanity’s last hope, as her unique blood composition gives her the ability to turn vampires human.
Cave will play Jolene, Vanessa Van Helsing’s wary friend who supports the cause against the vampires. She will work as second-in-command of a small group of Resistance fighters assigned to protect a field hospital.
Neil LaBute returns as showrunner for the series produced by Nomadic Pictures (“Fargo,” “Hell on Wheels”). The series is currently in production shooting in Vancouver, BC.
Cave was a star on ‘Cra$h & Burn’ and has recurred in a number of TV series recently including “Aftermath” and “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency”. She plays a pivotal role in Kyra Sedgwick‘s directorial debut, “Story of a Girl” alongside Kevin Bacon.
