Half Life Episode 3 Concept Art is the Genuine Article

While Gabe Newell and everyone else at Valve have been coy in dropping any hints about future Half Life games, the website ValveTime has been able to uncover some previously unseen concept art.

The art has been verified as being the work of Valve artist Andrea Wicklund, and the images were first created in 2008, back when Valve was still working on Half Life 2: Episode 3. The episodic model has since been dropped, and whether or not these settings and designs will be in Half Life 3 is anyone’s guess. But for a gaming community hungry for a new Half Life game, we’ll take anything we can get.

Most of the art depicts Alyx Vance in winter gear, as well as glimpses of the demon border-world Xen. We’ve picked out a few of our favorite images, and the rest of the art can be viewed on ValveTime’s Facebook page.
