Con Reviews

HeroesCon 2013 Cosplay Gallery

One of my absolute favorite things about attending comic conventions is the cosplayers.  It amazes me how much time, money and effort people put into their costumes to show off at these events.  Some even go as far as to have multiple costumes for each day of the event or change several times each day.  I always set aside some time at each ‘con I attend to walk around just to see and take photos of the cosplayers.

Cosplay has gone from just an oddity you would see during these events right down to a way of life.  Some very serious cosplayers travel from convention to convention each year to show off their creative flair.  There are some events that feature cosplay contests that can fetch some pretty hefty prizes.  I personally have a great deal of respect for these people and their craft…yes I called it a craft.  Anyone who has the stones to drop sometimes thousands of dollars and thousands of hours of their time on costumes each year deserve your respect.

So let’s pay homage to those who graced the floor of HeroesCon 2013.
