Infamous Chloe Quinzel - Cosplayer Spotlight

How did you first get into cosplay?

Always was a big fan of Halloween so when I found out about cons I just had to try them out.

Do you cosplay just for fun or do you see it as a stepping stone to a future career?

Both I am actually trying to become an SFX make-up artist and I would love to bring cosplay alongside with it.

Do you prefer to make your cosplays from scratch, buy or commission them, or a hybrid?

Both I do my best to learn and create my own cosplayers but if I ever need help I will get commissions from others.

How much time do you spend making each of your cosplays?

It could be from a few weeks to a few months depending.

To just be yourself.

What is your golden cosplay rule that you would share with new cosplayers?

Don’t be afraid to be you.

It has become a lot more excepting of a lot of things as well as gotten well known over the years.

If money and time were not a factor, what is your number one over-ambitious cosplay you want to do?

Jinx from League of Legends.

Do you set a budget for each cosplay?

I try to buy a lot of the materials with time in between so I’m not dropping a lot of money at once but I’ll try to keep it around $500.

A way to express my true self.

How do you see the cosplay community 10 years from now?

I can see it becoming even bigger than it is now.
