Game of Thrones Alums Jason Momoa and Peter Dinklage May Reunite for Good Bad & Undead
Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa are currently in talks to star in Legendary film Good Bad & Undead. The story is a new take on Van Helsing. Dinklage would take on that role, opposite Momoa’s vampire character. Momoa’s vampire took a vow to never kill again, so he and Van Helsing run a scam. Going from town to town, Van Helsing pretends to slay the vampire for money. Others place a bounty on the vampire’s head, forcing the duo to go on the run.
Mark Swift and Damian Shannon originally wrote the idea. Max Barbakow will direct. Legendary presented the film on Wednesday, describing it as “‘Midnight Run’ in a Bram Stoker world.”
The Team’s Other Credits
Barbakow’s most recent directing project was Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti’s Palm Springs. It broke the record for the biggest sale at Sundance in history. Hulu and Neon bought it at the 2020 festival for $17.5 million. He also directed The Duke and Mommy, I’m a Bastard, an autobiographical work.
Peter Dinklage starred as Tyrion Lannister in all eight seasons HBO’s acclaimed series Game of Thrones. The role earned him four Emmy awards. In 2017, he earned his first Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. He has also appeared in Elf (2003), The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), My Dinner with Hervé (2018). CAA and attorney Karl Austen represent Dinklage.
Jason Momoa also starred in Game of Thrones, but for a much shorter amount of time. His character, Khal Drogo, was sadly not as fortunate as Tyrion. Both were important figures in Daenerys’s (Emilia Clarke) storyline, though. Momoa has portrayed Aquaman since 2016, starting with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The character recently got his own film, Aquaman, in 2018. You can also see Momoa in the upcoming 2020 film, Dune. UTA and attorneys Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern represent Momoa.
Both of these actors are incredible, and I can’t wait to see their chemistry on screen.
