Katee Sackhoff Will Reprise Her Role as Bo-Katan Kryze in Season 2 of The Mandalorian
Sackhoff voiced Bo-Katan in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. /Film reported that she will play the live-action version of her character in the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian. The Mandalorian is currently streaming its first season on Disney+. They also reported that she filmed her scenes back in February. This means they filmed her part before the Hollywood shutdown over the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Bo-Katan Kryze History
Bo-Katan (and therefore Sackhoff) made her debut in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She guest-starred in eight episodes. She served as second in command to Pre Vizsla and a member of the Death Watch. Darth Maul killed the leader of the Death Watch during their struggle for control of Mandalore. Bo-Katan was opposed to an outsider ruling Mandalore, so she sets out to depose him. She finds Ahsoka Tano, a battalion leader of clone troopers during the Seige of Mandalore. Bo-Katan only appeared in two episodes of Star Wars Rebels.
Katee Sackhoff’s Other Roles
Sackhoff is probably best known for her role as Lieutenant Kara “Starbuck” Thrace in Battlestar Galactica. The series aired on the Sci-Fi Channel from 2004 to 2009. In 2010, she earned a lead role in the eighth season of 24 as Dana Walsh. She also starred in the A&E and Netflix series Longmire as Sheriff Victoria “Vic” Moretti between 2012 and 2017. On The Flash, she played the recurring role of Amunet. Twice, she appeared on The Big Bang Theory as herself.
She has had a few lead roles in films such as Halloween: Resurrection (2002), Batman: Year One (2011), The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia (2013), Riddick (2013), and Don’t Knock Twice (2016).
