Legion Plans to Stroll Back to TV Screens in April
The release date for Legion‘s season two premiere has been announced. The first episode of Legion season two will air on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018.
Last season on Legion, David Haller (Dan Stevens) discovered that the voices he hears may be due to something other than schizophrenia. He fell in love with fellow patient Syd (Rachel Keller), who helped him discover this. It turns out that Haller was manipulated by a being named the Shadow King and also called Amahl Farouk. Amahl Farouk took the shape of Haller’s friend Lenny (Aubrey Plaza) and possessed Haller himself. At the end of the season, Haller expelled Farouk. However, Farouk took over Oliver Bird (Jermaine Clement) and escaped. Additionally, Haller was whisked away in a giant orb to an unknown location, leaving the viewers in suspense.
In case you’re wondering what could have happened after the first season finale, I have more good news for you. The official synopsis for the upcoming season has also been released. It reads: “With David and Oliver missing and Farouk on the loose, the team forms an unlikely alliance with their former enemy ‘Clark’ (Hamish Linklater) and his well-funded government organization, Division III. Meanwhile, Amahl Farouk (Navid Negahban) is on a new path to attaining infinite and world-ending power.” Unfortunately, this synopsis does not give an indication of what happened to protagonist David Haller.
Although we don’t yet know where his character went, Dan Stevens will be reprising his role as David Haller. Also returning are Jean Smart, Rachel Keller, Aubrey Plaza, Jeremie Harris, and Bill Irwin. Noah Hawley is the executive producer behind Legion.
