We won’t see Mel Gibson in George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road, but there will be blood. The movie has just been given an R-rating for “intense sequences of violence throughout, and for disturbing images.”
We might get a red-band trailer soon. Meanwhile, take a look at what we already have:
Now check the freshly released Japanese trailer!
Mad Max: Fury Road is the fourth film (part reboot, part continuation) of George Miller‘s post-apocalyptic sci-fi/action franchise started in the late 1970s (with Mel Gibson playing Max “The Road Warrior” Rockatansky).
The film is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life.
Within this world of fire and blood, there are two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order: Max (played by Tom Hardy from The Dark Knight Rises) and Furiosa (played by Charlize Theron from Prometheus).
The movie will be unleashed on May 15th. Save the date!
