Mass Effect: Andromeda Has Fans Begging For More

It’s E3 time!

And with this glorious time comes the excitement of new hype trains rolling into the station and wallets just catching fire with the thought of how much its going to cost to slake the heavy thirsts that the conference brings with it, annually.

This year has been no exception with a slew of heart-racing announcements including Halo Wars 2Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 (click to read our Microsoft, Sony, and Ubisoft recaps) . However there is one that has caused, arguably, the most insane amount of buzz over social media and the internet, and that is EA’s trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Mass Effect AndromedaWelcome to the Family, Andromeda!

November 20, 2007 started it all with BioWare‘s big hit, the first installment of a series that would have old fans coming back for more while attracting new ones to see what all the fuss was about. Well, there was a lot of reasons to make noise. Deep story, gunfights in space, well-written dialogue; the trilogy had plenty to offer the gaming community. Take science fiction, add a bit of third-person shooter and top it off with action role-playing and you have yourself some Mass Effect. The original trio along with all of the DLC and spin-offs have gained much notoriety and many devoted fans over the years and the newest addition to the Mass Effect squad is already proving to be a showstopper.

Though the trailer doesn’t give much in the way of story, it is certainly enough to get people salivating for even more. Gorgeous graphics just grab you and hold your eyes hostage. A few beautifully designed characters, terrifying enemies and intense scenes make the watcher wonder just what the game is going to hold in store for us when it rolls out in early 2017. However, what we do know is that it promises to have an entire galaxy for us to explore, offering heaps of opportunities to explore new worlds while we help humanity. As a sweet cherry on top of the Andromeda sundae, glimpses into the making of the game are awesome little touches that let us see a portion of the development and add that much more interest to the title.

Hopefully we’ll be treated with even more insight to the game as time goes on and the launch date nears. In the meantime, let’s all gather around and watch this stunning trailer a dozen more times.
