New Spoiler-Filled Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Released
Well, I guess we now know why the Russo Brothers official said the spoiler ban would be lifted today. The new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home is out. Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, has a short message before the trailer and, if you haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet, you are not going to want to watch this trailer! If you have, get ready for some shocking new information. Check out the trailer below, if you have watched Avengers: Endgame of course!
Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
So, I heard rumblings on Twitter this weekend about some shocking stuff in the new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer. First: yes, the multi-verse theory is official in the MCU. Mysterio is officially from another Universe and is now on our Earth (or is the villain acting?). What this means for the MCU going into Phase 4 is anyone’s guess. We also get a closer look at Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio. He is played up as a hero in the trailer, but we all know that will probably change, maybe?
We also see Peter and Happy Hogan grieving after the loss of Tony Stark. It seems the world as a whole knows about Tony’s sacrifice and there is a big void in the MCU. We also see, I guess, that most of Peter’s friends were snapped away for five years as well, as the main cast are all together on this trip. I am sure they will talk about that in the film more. Also, MJ knows Peter is Spider-Man!
Spider-Man: Far From Home is closing out Phase 3 of the MCU and launching Phase 4. With the introduction of the possibility of the multi-verse and probably some other “time” shenanigans, it looks like the MCU is gearing up again after the madness that is/was Avengers: Endgame. I can’t guarantee much, but I bet Spider-Man: Far From Home has an after-credits scene or two!
Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 2! What did you think about the trailer? What do you think it implies for Phase 4 of the MCU? Let us know in the comments.
