Nickelodeon has announced the booth events and panels that they will hold next month at San Diego Comic Con, according to Entertainment Weekly.
More about Nickolodeon and their SDCC Plans:
Nickolodeon will have their own booth at SDCC. At said booth, there will be a number of signings by voice actors, executive producers, and creators of television shows that fall under the Nickelodeon umbrella. Nickelodeon will also be selling exclusive merchandise and t-shirts that fans can customize with images from their favorite In addition, visitors to SDCC will be able to walk into a replica of the shrine Hey Arnold (a 1990s television show which has recently been made into a tv movie) character Helga has to her crush Arnold (don’t worry, you can take pictures at this replica). There will also be an interactive gaming and video capture experience set up inside a large pinapple reminiscent of the one found in the popular television show Spongebob Squarepants. It seems like they will be primarily promoting upcoming specials for television shows that were first aired in the 1990s, making sure that millenials know that they can get their nostalgia directly from Nickolodeon.
Nickelodeon will also have four panels present at San Diego Comic Con to promote four upcoming Nickelodeon projects. These projects are Rocko’s Modern Life: Return to Earth!, Hey Arnold!: From Hillwood to the Jungle!, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-kini Bottom. These panels will all include sneak peeks at all of those upcoming projects, as well as discussions from some of the voice actors and the creators of said projects. In addition, all four of these projects will have some sort of presence at Nickelodeon’s SDCC booth.
San Diego Comic Con will take place next month from Thursday July 20th to Sunday July 23rd.
