Three New Names Are on the Cast List for Picard’s Star Trek Series
The newest Star Trek series doesn’t have a name yet, but that hasn’t stopped it from building up an immense cast.
The New Series
They’ve done a wonderful job of keeping a lot of news quiet from the newest Star Trek series Seeing that the filming starts next month, it’s likely that they already have a title or at least a working title for the series. But we’ve heard mum about it.
Obviously, we know that Sir Patrick Stewart is running the whole project. And that is more than enough reason for most of us to be getting excited.
We do know that Hanelle Culpepper is directing the first episode (or two) of the series, and Jonathan Frakes is directing what comes after that. Other actors that have already been announced as being part of the team include Evan Evagora, Michelle Hurd, and Santiago Cabrera.
The New Cast
We learned this week that three new actors were added to the list of the cast. We don’t yet know their character names, or anything like that, but it’s a start.
Alison Pill was the first name on the newly added list. She’s worked on projects such as Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and the Newsroom.
Harry Treadaway was the second actor announced, and he’s sure to be a perfect fit for the series. Whatever his role may be. He has been involved with projects like Penny Dreadful and Mr. Mercedes.
Last, but certainly not least, is Isa Briones. She had a leading role on the Broadway show, Hamilton, and had a part in American Crime Story: Versace.
Unfortunately, we really don’t know much, well, actually, anything, about their roles as of yet. But hopefully, we’ll hear more of the Picard series as the show begins production.
