Time For Drastic Measures In Black Widow: Bad Blood Episode 13
The latest adventure for Natasha Romanoff is almost at an end in Black Widow: Bad Blood Episode 13. The Black Widow has been on the hunt for a while now – seeking out those that stole her blood in order to make things right.
In the last episode, Black Widow and Winter Soldier had finally gotten all of the answers they needed. Now it’s merely a case of winning the fight – and surviving everything else happening, of course.
Black Widow: Bad Blood is part of an ongoing series from Serial Box. One that releases a new episode each Tuesday. Next week will reveal the last episode of the season, wrapping up this hunt of Natasha’s.
Fast And Dirty
Black Widow: Bad Blood Episode 13 is an action-packed episode, as Black Widow and the Winter Soldier work together to save the world. Literally. Apparently these two are merely incapable of taking on an easy task.
L.L. McKinney is the mind behind this entire episode, and they brought us something truly thrilling here. It’s easy to forget how human these two characters are, when it seems like they can take on the world. Yet McKinney was able to throw believable threats their way, and make it all entertaining in the process.
While the action scenes were entertaining (of course they were, it’s Black Widow), that’s not the only highlight of the episode. This is the second to last episode in the season, and thus there’s a lot of wrapping up to do.
Yet it all seemed to flow smoothly, with all the ends getting placed in line. There’s still plenty to be wrapped up, but now it feels possible. Granted, I am very much looking forward to seeing the rest of this particular action sequence play out.
Black Widow: Bad Blood Episode 13 was narrated by Sarah Natochenny, as with the rest of the series. She really does an excellent job of capturing Natasha’s voice and making her feel like the character we all know and love.
This episode had a lot more action than usual, which is saying something. That’s why the narration and audio elements really stood out this time around. Most of the sound effects were understated and carefully placed.
Episode 13 also played with the audio as well, making it really sound like Black Widow and Winter Soldier (both voiced by Natochenny) were communicating through a radio headset. It’s touches like that which enhance the whole experience.
Black Widow: Bad Blood Episode 13 was another thrilling addition to this series. It’s so satisfying seeing all of the work from this season coming together so perfectly. Not just the work of Natasha, but the work of the writers and narrator as well.
I’ll be honest here; I’m going to be really sad when this season concludes. Black Widow: Bad Blood has consistently been a highlight of my week – something to look forward to. I can’t recommend it enough, both to longstanding fans of Marvel, as well as new ones.
Thankfully, Jessica Jones: Playing With Fire is another Marvel series on Serial Box that’s still actively updating. So there is still that to look forward to. Additionally, Black Panther’s (Sins of the King) series is almost here, and I could not be more excited for it.
