Well, it’s common knowledge among nerds that Ridley Scott is a producer for dozens of shows. However, this project of his is different from all the other ones. In true Scott fashion, he is bringing us something different from what we’re used to. The English film director and producer, with decades of experience, changing the field and entering the small screen.

Yes, he is a knight. He’s basically a film royal with a long history of success in the entertainment industry. Generations of nerds will know one or two of his works. Scott is the mastermind behind Hannibal, Alien and Blade Runner. In addition to that, he’s also behind G.I Jane and Prometheus. Let’s not forget the most iconic advertisement of all time. That’s right, it was Sir Ridley Scott who directed the “1984” Apple Macintosh commercial that continues to blow the minds of people to this day.

He’s a genius! It is important to realize that his decades of experience proves he is ambitious and fearless. In other words, he’s basically a wolf!

Raised by Wolves

The eighty-year-old director is set to start his TV directorial series with a bang. The high-concept science fiction is entitled “Raised by Wolves”. In an article by Gizmodo, the show starts with two androids raising human children. Placed in a virgin planet, these two androids face difficulties and face treachery as they face problems that come with humanity.

On the same article that comes with the press release, the director states as to why he chose this story

“I’m always searching for new frontiers in the sci-fi genre and have found a true original in Raised by Wolves—a wholly distinct and imaginative world, full of characters struggling with existential questions: What makes us human? What constitutes a family? And what if we could start over again and erase the mess we’ve made of our planet? Would we survive? Would we do better?”

Details and Conclusions

Raised by Wolves may come our way late 2019. There is no certain number of episodes yet. However, we do have information that he’ll be working with showrunner Aaron Guziwoski. He wrote Prisoners. This isn’t his first time working with TNT but this is his first time to direct instead of produce.

Rest assured, he’ll give us a masterpiece, the same as what he did before.
