“Since its inception, Sevens Seas’ commitment to bringing the best in original and licensed manga has been evident by how many titles they’ve had chart on the New York Times bestsellers list,” said comiXology co-founder and CEO David Steinberger. “Seven Seas publisher Jason DeAngelis has a great eye for talent, whether it’s licensing and translating material from Japan and Korea or creating new content. We’re very excited to help bring Seven Seas Entertainment’s catalog to new and old fans across the globe on comiXology.”
“Seven Seas’ launch on comiXology marks the first time we’re offering licensed manga from Japan in digital form,” said Jason DeAngelis, publisher of Seven Seas Entertainment. “We’ve long admired comiXology’s user friendly platform and are thrilled to add our manga catalog to comiXology’s topnotch reading experience.”
After releasing 13 launch titles with comiXology, more series from Seven Seas are soon to follow! I’ve never been that much of a fan for a digital “comic” service, but this new line-up has now caught my attention. I just might buy a volume of Haganai since I finished the anime, and I’m hoping that A Certain Scientific Railgun will follow suit as well! Join in on the digital revolution and purchase some titles now with comiXology!
Content can be read on iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle Fire, Windows 8, and online.
