Tatiana Maslany Has Officially Been Cast As She-Hulk
After waiting what feels like forever about news of Disney+’s next series, She-Hulk has finally cast it’s leading lady. Tatiana Maslany has officially been brought on board, according to reports.
She-Hulk
She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters, is the famous cousin of Bruce Banner, and a Hulk in her own right. She’s also an attorney that you don’t want to mess with, when she’s not busy being an Avenger, that is.
She-Hulk is just one of several series that Disney+ has promised the fans. Most notable The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki. Some of those series have also been coming out with news as of late.
Up until now, She-Hulk‘s series hasn’t been handing out lots of announcements. Fans had been hoping that the series would drop closer to Disney+’s launch But thanks to a series of complications now looks like it will (hopefully) be available early next year.
Tatiana Maslany
Deadline was the first to break the news about Tatiana Maslany officially being cast as She-Hulk. In a funny turn of events, Mark Ruffalo was the second person to confirm the news, celebrating the announcement on Twitter.
Tatiana Maslany is probably most famous for her role on Orphan Black (Sarah Manning), though that is by no means her only impressive role. Perry Mason, Stronger, and Destroyer are all projects worth recalling as well.
Given her history, there’s no doubt that will do justice to the beloved character. The real question is, what sort of take can fans expect for She-Hulk? She’s been around in comics long enough to have a lot of history, and thus there are plenty of options out there. Which timeline is the most likely to influence Maslany’s acting? One thing is certain: fans are going to be looking forward to seeing how she brings this character to life.
Welcome to the family, cuz! @tatianamaslany #SheHulk https://t.co/VXcaE9Fine
