Cameron Monaghan to Voice Superboy in Reign of the Supermen
Although there hasn’t been an official announcement, there have been a number of clues for who will voice Superboy for the upcoming animated movie Reign of the Supermen. Although there hasn’t been a press release yet, we can confidently say that Cameron Monaghan will be voicing Superboy in Reign of the Supermen. Cameron Monaghan is best known for playing the Joker in the live-action DC series Gotham, which is currently filming its final season on Fox. He seems to be taking a more heroic position in Metropolis than he ever did in Gotham.
The Evidence for Superboy
Last week, Cameron Monaghan fan Sunny White @SunshineSunny00 tweeted this at Cameron Monaghan:

In the tweet, there are two screencaps from The Death of Superman. The first is one of Cameron Monaghan, with a chyron saying “Cameron Monaghan Super Boy.” The other is a screencap of Superboy holding his arms up as confetti falls. Since The Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen are both part of a two-part event, it makes sense that the former would reveal casting information for the latter.
Additionally, Cameron Monaghan posted the following on his Instagram feed:
That’s pretty conclusive, if you didn’t already believe the above screencap. First, there is an image of the iconic Superman logo. Then, there’s a drawing of Superboy. The comment is #ReignOfTheSupermen.
In this two-part animated movie event, Jerry O’Connell voices Superman and his real-life wife Rebecca Romijn voices Lois Lane.
Reign of the Supermen is scheduled for release at some point next year. The Death of Superman is currently available digitally and will be available on DVD on 7 August 2018.
