“We’ve cried some tears and we’ll cry some more…” for Supernatural final season
Supernatural has been a staple in most geeks’ vaults. When asked what are their favorite TV shows for sure this one is right up there with Dr. Who and Star Trek. Then on March 22nd, 2019 the apocalypse must have happened. Or did Lilith return? Maybe the Leviathan?
For the past 14 years, Supernatural has brought hope to the world. As Dean and Sam fight monsters, demons, angels and the devil himself! This Tv show has defied every odd, becoming The CW’s longest-running series with soon to be 15 seasons!
This is not just a TV show anymore. It has become family to its cast, crew and especially its fans. Dean and Sam have grown, faced evils, fell in love, and most of all became closer as brothers. Which I know while watching it I have felt that I have been right there with them throughout all of it.
The Actors Thoughts
The three of them spilled their hearts out as they held back tears and intense emotions.“We just told the crew that though we’re very, very excited about moving into our 15th season, it will be our last,” stated Ackles.
Posting to their social media, they expressed their gratitude to the fans who have stuck by Supernatural for nearly two decades. Once announced, there was a lot of love and support that took to Twitter.
Hey #SPNFamily here’s a little message from @JensenAckles @mishacollins and me. I’m so grateful for the family that’s been built because of the show. Excuse me while i go cry. pic.twitter.com/QDXDsAyIfK

Well, it’s official. One more round for the Winchester brothers. Though nothing ever really ends in Supernatural…does it? 😉 https://t.co/zaZHJX4H9L

“We’ve cried some tears and we’ll cry some more…” Padalecki trailed off, prompting Ackles to pipe in: “But we’re going to save the emotion for next season.” “We’re grateful, but we’ll work all the emotion in next season,” Padalecki guaranteed.
We may even be surprised by some characters that we thought were gone for good. In recent news, Jeffrey Dean Morgan certainly hopes that he makes a reappearance. “My dream would be to come back and do something in the last year, the last episode, the last couple of episodes, whatever, and do a proper little arc.”
CW President Mark Pedowitz has stated at the Television Critics Association press tour that if the ratings for the show holds up, it would go on as long as the boys wanted it to. As of this season, Supernatural is averaging 1.5 million total viewers!
All good things come to an end
As someone who has watched Supernatural since it first came out, I already feel like a long-awaited break up is about to take place. Alas, you can catch up with the first 13 seasons on Netflix. Also, there are currently 4 episodes left for season 14, Thursdays at 8 PM on the CW.
Part of me wants them to state at the end of season 15 that “Dad’s on a hunting trip, and he hasn’t been home in a few days.” I would respect that.
A heartwarming thank you to Jared Jensen, Misha and the entire cast and crew who have brought us such a Supernatural show to love and share for years to come.
