Tessa Thompson and Amazon Join Forces to Bring The Left Right Game to Life
The Left Right Game, a popular science fiction thriller and podcast, is about to get the adaptation treatment. And you’ll never guess who is behind it. Okay, the title sort of gives it away here. Tessa Thompson and Amazon Studios will be working together to create a TV series based on the podcast.
The Left Right Game
Written and created by Jack Anderson, this podcast is a sci-fi thriller of epic proportions. It tracks a journalist who falls into an unexpected journey. The podcast is full of unexpected twists and turns. It all begins with a simple game…or so it seemed.
They call it the Left/Right game. But it doesn’t stop there. Before realizing what is happening, our reporter finds herself embroiled in the world of the supernatural and fantastical. And the deadly.
The Left Right Game is a relatively new podcast, having only premiered on March 23rd. New episodes drop on Mondays. Find them on Apple Podcasts.
Since the announcement is relatively new, we only have so much information to go off of. Thus far, we know that the creator (Jack Anderson) will be writing the adaptation of the series. Working alongside Anderson will be Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger, Justin Levy, Rob Herting, and David Henning; all of whom will be executive producers.
The other major announcement involves Tessa Thompson, the actress most famous for her role in Thor: Ragnarok. Thompson is the star and co-producer of the podcast and one of the executive producers for the adaptation process, as well. Given her role in the podcast, there’s room to hope that we’ll be seeing more of her during the adaptation process, too—though currently, that is a hope and nothing more. With any luck, we’ll get more news on this program soon.
