Warning: This article will contain possible spoilers for some past and upcoming DC Extended Universe films. Proceed with caution!
As production proceeds on the first of the films featuring the Justice League, the people behind the scenes keep revealing more tidbits of information in a bid to feed the impatient fans. According to SuperheroHype.com, the latest tidbit is a picture of Batman’s (Ben Affleck) “tactical batsuit” which he will be wearing during part of Justice League.
More about the upcoming Justice League film:
As we know, the Justice League film currently in production is the first of two films that will explicitly feature the Justice League. The DC Extended Universe has some films out already that feature Batman, who will reportedly be the hero who brings together the Justice League. The league will also include Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (who has her own film next year and was featured in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice), Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen/The Flash (whose solo film will reach theaters in between the two Justice League films), Jason Momoa’s Aquaman (who also has a solo film in 2018), and Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent/Superman, miraculously back from the dead. The first film will apparently primarily consist of Bruce Wayne/Batman bringing the above superheroes into collaboration with each other, thereby creating the titular league. It is currently unknown who the villain of the film will be, nor is it known who will be playing the villain in the film, although William Defoe has been cast in an as yet unknown role, so he could be playing the villain in the upcoming film. Other characters in the film will include Commissioner James Gordon (J.K. Simmons) and Atlantean warrior Mera (Amber Heard)
Word of the Nerd will report more on the Justice League films and the DC Extended Universe as more becomes known about those particular topics.
